Changes in version 2000.05

Changes from v. 2000.04 to v. 2000.05:

Bug Fixes/Changes:
1) The IRR Model's minimum number of years was changed from 10 to 2.
2) CRAT/CRUT Models: the 10% test was changed to cover both the month of the selected Sec. 7520 rate and the transfer month. This feature had been in versions prior to 2000.00.
3) The button named Sec. 7520 rates was changed to AFRs. Similarly, the menu choice for Sec. 7520 rates was changed to AFR Rates.
4) The Estate Tax model had some cosmetic changes to the report.

Changes from v. 2000.03 to v. 2000.04:

Bug Fix:
1) The Exclusion model was displaying the reverse case when Take Advantage of Gift Splitting was checked or not checked. This has been corrected.

Changes from v. 2000.02 to v. 2000.03:

Bug Fixes:
1) Report headings were not being saved with data files. This has been corrected.
2) The Confiscate model was using the 1986 unified credit. The combined tax rate on the details tab was not showing the tax rate to two decimals. These have been corrected.
New Feature/Bug Fix:
3) The GRAT model Discount input was dropped. The old Principal input was renamed to Pre-discounted FMV and a new input for Discounted FMV was added. The Economic Schedule has a new line at the top of the report when the Discounted FMV is lower than the Pre-discounted FMV. These changes to the GRAT model allow simultaneous use of discounted values for the taxable gift calculations with non-discounted values for the economic schedule. The printed version of the Economic Schedule also has a new line at the bottom showing the advantages of the GRAT with appropriate merged values displayed.

Changes from v. 2000.01 to v. 2000.02:

Bug Fixes:
1) Retire model in Financial Planning Tools section was using an incorrect input for the calculation.
This has been corrected.
2) Educate model in Financial Planning Tools section had column labels adjusted.
3) Exclusion model in Estate Planning Tools section had the reverse situation indicated as the input in the printed report when Take Advantage of Gift Splitting was selected or not. This has been corrected.
4) Some minor changes were made to explanatory text.
New Features:
1) Bar graphs widened on printouts for more visual appeal.
